Kristen Maurice launched yourDAY in 1998.
Her pervious ten years in the wedding industry with
brides, bridal attire and creation, floral design, catering, as well
as wedding and event planning, gave her a realistic grasp of a bride’s needs.
Kristen realized that beyond the obvious requirements of a location, a photographer,
florist, and music, engaged women required additional information and tools in order to
enjoy and effectively plan their wedding. Kristen observed there was a need for someone to
explain how the industry operates as well as how to navigate through the complicated planning process …after all, this is new and unfamiliar territory.

Kristen recognized the regardless of age, career,
nationality, and socio-economic status, the engaged
woman’s experience of the wedding planning process
seemed uncannily similar. As the wedding drew nearer, brides
seemed unnecessarily frazzled, frustrated and completely overwhelmed.

Through input from brides, Kristen began developing and providing brides
the necessary information and assistance for a worry-free, seamless, exceptional
wedding. With her enthusiastic, yet calming personality and her gracious ability to listen,
Kristen lends objective emotional support when necessary. Additionally, her creativity makes her uniquely qualified to offer visual and creative direction in developing and implementing the detail of this significant life time event.
